This Week’s Snack is a Multigrain Tortilla Chip. It is tasty, has healthy ingredients & is low in sodium. It is a healthy replacement for potato or tortilla chips, and this chip actually tastes delicious! I have been snacking on these for the past three weeks & am pretty much obsessed with them. I also like that I can feed some to Alessandra as a snack or with a meal (just a few though because they have fiber & she’s still a toddler). I even shared them with guests and they liked them too! Watch video for more & to find out where you can find these. Thanks for watching! If you like this video, please Like it & Subscribe to my Youtube channel to receive Continue reading

Now that I am a mom, I still wear lipstick, but if I am going to be working from home all day, I will likely only wear chap stick. If I go out or we have company coming over, I will wear lipstick, but don’t bother to re-apply it often because I don’t Continue reading
We visit Las Vegas a few times per year. Our trips vary, from business to simple leisure, but I always try to add some fun outings to our trips. I also have a good friend, Rossy, which lives in Las Vegas, so I try to spend time with her every time we go. Which, is also different from Continue reading
As much as I like to stay on top of fashion trends, I tend to have a personal style and stick to things which Continue reading
The holidays are in full swing, we still have New Year’s Eve and Dia de Reyes (Three Wise Men Day) parties coming up. It is fun to indulge in our favorite meals and drinks during the holidays, but after a month of parties and dinners, all those calories can add up. An easy way to cut a few calories from Continue reading
This week is Thanksgiving. During this time of the year, I reflect (even more) on the many blessings in life and everything I am thankful for! I feel very fortunate, and thankful with God and life. One of the biggest blessings in my life is Continue reading
Everyday, I try to eat some type of fruit. Mostly papaya or tropical fruits. Now that I am pregnant, I have increased the amount of fruit I eat so I can add some extra nutrients. I don’t always have time to chop up fresh fruit and always feel bad if Continue reading
Heels are a staple in my closet. I love wearing them, and my feet have gotten pretty good about standing and walking in them for hours. For certain speaking engagements and when I host events, I will stand on my feet for up to six or eight hours. It can take a toll on my feet. I have a handful of Continue reading
It is finally starting to feel like fall! Cooler weather, some rain, and it is getting dark earlier. We can finally start wearing our sweaters….maybe light sweaters in Southern California, boots and some scarfs! I am loving it! This season, a trend in sweaters is Continue reading
Every spring & summer, I seem to choose a favorite pair of sandals which I wear multiple times every week. This year it was these Zigi Girl black sandals which I am continuing to wear into the end of September because the weather has been quite warm. Over the years, I have learned to purchase shoes and sandals that are not only stylish, but Continue reading

The biggest joy in my life is family, from my grandmother, to my youngest nephew, and all my relatives in between! At the end of the day, they are the most important aspect of my life and my happiest memories have been lived by their side. I was fortunate to have met Continue reading
Wrap dresses are my favorite type of everyday dress. They hug you at the waist – and that flatters most figures, including mine. Wrap dresses are very practical! I am a huge fan of them! Many of my work dresses are wrap dresses. My favorite brand is BCBG. I buy them at the BCGB stores, at the BCBG Outlet stores, Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, and Macy’s. I also have a few other brands, such as Banana Republic and Ann Taylor. Saks and Saks Off 5th also carry multiple other brands (at reasonable prices).
Here are the top reasons why I love wrap dresses: Continue reading
Hi friends! Do you have a favorite outfit this season? Mine is this red jacket from Arden B. I bought it before the winter season began and have worn it many times this holiday season! It is warm, comfortable, and can be worn open or closed. I like it so much that I have worn it for work, casual outings, and on recent trips to San Francisco and Newport Beach (these pics were taken at South Coast Plaza in Newport). It was practical for traveling because it did not get wrinkled in my carry-on bag, always a plus. It can be dressed up with a skirt (or dress) and heels, or worn with jeans and boots – as I wear it here! I also purchased the jacket in a camel color, but have only worn that one twice. We have a few weeks of chilly weather left in Southern California (ok, our version of chilly weather), so I will try to wear this red jacket a few more times….I’ll stretch the season out and continue wearing the jacket as long as I can! I get compliments every time I wear it, which is always nice. Most importantly, I feel great…confident and stylish every time I wear it, you can’t beat that! For all these reasons, this is my favorite outfit of the season!
Which is your favorite outfit of the season?
PS – I wore my hair up to accentuate the high collar & ruffles the jacket has. I also applied red lipstick, this is my favorite Chanel tone for the season (a gift from my comadre Marissa, comadre = mother of my goddaughter).
